Facility Services
Facility Services is responsible for the operation of schools and Central Services facilities and the division purchasing function. With a gross facility area of just under 200,000 square meters and an operating budget of $13.6 million, services include:
- facility maintenance
- grounds maintenance (involving play structures)
- custodial services
- leasing of vacant school space
- acquisition of leased space
- after-hours facility rentals
- boundaries
- division purchasing of goods and services
- strategic facility planning, including capital planning
- new construction, renovation and modernization of facilities
- utility and energy management
- shipping, receiving, mail and courier
