Reporting of Class Size
In accordance with the Alberta Learning Commission recommendations on class size, school boards are required to publicly report their average class sizes annually.

Three-Year Education Plan

Elk Island Public Schools' education plan for the three years commencing September 1, 2011 was prepared under the direction of the Board in accordance with responsibilities specified in the School Act, the Government Accountability Act, Alberta Education Policy 2.1.1 ("Accountability in Education: School Authority Accountability"), and the provincial government's accounting policies.

The priorities outlined in this education plan were developed in the context of local needs and priorities, the provincial government's business and fiscal plans, and Alberta Education's business plan. The Board is committed to achieving the results laid out in this education plan.
