Introduction

Welcome to Lion Country!
Located in the centre of the city of Fort Saskatchewan, Fort Saskatchewan Elementary is a school rich in history, pride, integrity and commitment to excellence. Our school motto, "Showing Our Pride" neatly and accurately describes what occurs daily in our hallways, classrooms, and on our playground. Excellent academic programs, outstanding music classes, a character education program, and a host of leadership and athletic opportunities are offered to and for our students.

As a school community, our focus this year has been on differentiated learning, inquiry process research, and our school climate. We work closely with our School Council, and welcome the involvement of all our learning partners.

Motto

"Showing Our Pride"

Mission

We believe our school mission statement: We are a proud community of respectful learners pursuing unlimited possibilities defines who we are and that in which we believe.

Philosophy

What is our vision?  What are we working to create?
A school where:
Excellence, acceptance, understanding, and a fierce belief in our unlimited potential roars through our hallways.

In classrooms where:
Engaged, eager, inquiring cubs ask meaty questions and are led to find meaningful answers by wise, proud, and caring educators.

With everyone believing in:
Integrity, caring, respect, and lions' pride.
Hear Us Roar!
