Fort Saskatchewan Junior High is a school that endeavors to meet the needs of all students and academic excellence is its main focus. In addition to regular programming, the school offers honours, basic core, occupational core, behaviour improvement and Middle Years Literacy programs. In an effort to educate the whole child, Fort Saskatchewan Junior High also offers a variety of complementary courses such as art, band, computer literacy, French, wildlife, industrial arts, and home economics. The school has two complete PC labs with 30 computers each and Internet connections in the library as well. Comprehensive intramural and extracurricular programs provide activities to complement community sports programs and provide challenges to meet the needs of even the most avid athlete.
