CLASSIFIED LEADERSHIP GROUP
The Division maintains a work environment that fosters personal and professional growth for all employees. The Division recognizes employees in leadership positions have responsibility and accountability to lead in a manner that fosters an environment of respect for all staff members, students and community partners.
Classified Leadership Group:
is inclusive of the Superintendent, Associate Superintendents, Secretary-Treasurer, directors, assistant directors and co-ordinators unless outlined differently in a personal services contract of employment or covered under a Collective Agreement.
- The Division provides a Handbook for Classified Leadership Group Personnel (Appendix 457-A) as a compendium of terms and benefits of employment for members of this group.
- Any exceptions to these Handbook terms and benefits are specifically outlined in an individual employee’s contract of employment or offer of employment.
- The occupational group of speech-language pathologists are not part of the Classified Leadership Group but are granted terms and benefits of employment in accordance with the handbook. Any exceptions to the terms and benefits outlined in the handbook shall be contained in the individual offer of employment.
