Sherwood Park, AB. — Students and their family members from around the region are invited to attend Your Future 2017 on October 17. The event is free and open to students in grades 9 through 12 from Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS) and Elk Island Catholic Schools.

Hosted by EIPS, Your Future 2017 is an annual post-secondary and career fair that brings together more than 40 universities, colleges, polytechnics, private schools and sector experts in one place—the largest event of its kind in Alberta.

Throughout the evening, students and family members can meet with some of the top post-secondary institutions in Canada; ask questions; talk to experts about various career sectors; learn about future career trends; and much more.

“The amount of education and career options available to young people today is overwhelming,” says Joseph Clark, the director of Learning Services at EIPS. “Your Future is meant to alleviate some of that uncertainty by offering a range of information to both students and their families about post-secondary school, leading programs and the various education and career opportunities out there today. It’s a unique event and highly informative.”
