Our volunteers help make the Young Authors' Conference the success it is year after year! Sign up below to volunteer. Your volunteer form should be completed by March 23, 2023. NOTE: Lunch will be provided for full day volunteers.

Parent and staff volunteers are needed for general help on the day of the conference.

As a general volunteer, you will supervise and direct students before and after sessions, distribute snacks and set up for various sessions, or help with book sales. General volunteers can choose between an all day (8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.), morning (8 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.) or afternoon (12 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.) time slot.

Staff volunteers are needed to fill chairperson roles.

As a chairperson, you will introduce and thank authors and generally assist during the presentation. Chairpeople can select one, two or all of the sessions. Please indicate on the volunteer registration form if you have a preference for a particular author(s), we will ATTEMPT to place you with the author, but cannot guarantee preference.
