Summer School 2023
Registration for EIPS Summer School is now open. The Summer School program offers a number of senior high courses that allow students to earn credits, upgrade marks, lighten workloads for the year ahead or finish pre-requisite courses.
Registration is open to all current EIPS students, or those registered to attend an EIPS school in 2023-24, who are entering grades 10-12 in 2023-24 or currently in Grade 12.

Summer School 2023 registration
Summer School classes will take place in person in Sherwood Park.
Courses include:
- Biology 20 and 30*
- Chemistry 20 and 30*
- English Language Arts 20-1, 20-2, 30-1* and 30-2*
- Mathematics 10-3, 10C, 20-1, 20-2, 30-1* and 30-2*
- Physics 20 and 30*
- Science 10 and 30*
- Social Studies 20-1, 20-2, 30-1* and 30-2*
- Foundations in Industry Workplace Safety Training
- Personal Fitness 10, 20 and 30
- Career and Life Management (CALM) 20
- Physical Education 10
- Work Experience 15, 25 and 35 and Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP)
Diploma Exam Courses*
All parts of a diploma exam are required to receive a final grade in the course. Students will write diploma exams at Bev Facey Community High. Refer to the diploma exam overview from Alberta Education for more information.
Foundations in Industry Workplace Safety
In addition to earning five high school credits, students will also obtain credentials in specific areas of workplace safety in partnership with industry-safety experts. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be credentialed in:
- H2S Alive
- Confined Space
- WHMIS 2015
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods
- Ground Disturbance
- Detection and Control of Flammable Substances
- Fall Restraint Systems
Students must complete all learning components of the course to receive credentialing.
