Sent to all current K-5 and pre-registered Brentwood Elementary and Westboro Elementary families

At today’s Board meeting, the Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS) Board of Trustees received the report on anticipated elementary Logos Christian program enrolment numbers for 2023-24—based on all returning student registration forms received in February and all 2023-24 new student registration forms received by February 28. The numbers show no increase in Logos program registrations. As such, the Board made the decision to amalgamate the elementary Logos Christian program at Brentwood Elementary, effective for the 2023-24 school year. The junior high Logos Christian program remains unchanged at Sherwood Heights Junior High for the coming year.

As followup to this decision, all Brentwood Elementary and Westboro Elementary families now have an opportunity to review their school and program registration for the 2023-24 school year and submit a request for a different school or program, if they choose. In particular, all families who requested the Logos Christian program at Westboro Elementary on their new or returning student registration form must decide if they’d like to transfer to the Logos Christian program at Brentwood Elementary, transfer to the regular program at Westboro Elementary or request a different school or program for the 2023-24 school year.

To confirm your child’s school and program registration or request a different school or program for the 2023-24 school year, complete the 2023-24 Confirmation of School and Program Registration form linked below by 10 a.m. on March 23. For all unsubmitted forms, the Division will assume your child will continue in the school and program requested on your new or returning student registration form for the 2023-24 school year.
