Transportation Fees

Use the chart above to determine busing fees for your child.

Calculating Home-to-School Distance
Home-to-School Distance is calculated using a combination of roadways and walkways—it may not always match the driven distance of your family car. To determine the distance from your home to the school your child is designated to or attending visit Find My Designated School or Contact Student Transportation.

Student Transportation Refund Statement

Refunds will not be issued for cancellations or changes in circumstances after September 30 with the exception of:

  1. Students who leave the Division prior to the end of the school year shall be refunded a prorated portion of their transportation fee.
  2. Designated students who move outside 2.4 km shall be refunded a prorated portion of their transportation fee.

*Refunds will only be processed after the bus pass has been returned to the Student Transportation office. An administrative fee will apply to all refunds.

Refund Process
For Transportation Fees, refunds and credits on accounts will be applied in the following order:

  • Payment of outstanding fees
  • Left on account for future fees
  • Transferred to sibling fees, on request
  • Refunded to payor

NOTE: EIPS follows the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard, a set of tough security rules developed by the credit card industry to protect cardholders against credit card fraud and identity theft. This means other than online payments, EIPS does not accept payment by credit card unless the person and card are present in the school or department. We cannot accept credit card payments over the phone.
