Thank you to everyone who submitted feedback to the Division following the meeting at Sherwood Heights Junior High on June 13. Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS) is currently reviewing all the feedback gathered at the meeting and through the followup survey.

As previously shared, EIPS is compiling the feedback gathered into a What We Heard report. While the Division had planned to share that report back with families this week, EIPS wants to ensure all interested families have an opportunity to provide comments and pose questions about potential changes to the EIPS Logos Christian Program—both at the elementary and junior high levels. To ensure the fair and impartial collection of information, the Division has contracted Y Station, a local public engagement company, to oversee the followup meeting next week. Y Station will begin the session with the entire group and then use breakout rooms to make sure all those attending have a chance to share their thoughts and suggestions.

Feedback collected from both of the in-person sessions and the online surveys will be included in the What We Heard report, going forward to the Board of Trustees in fall 2022. Once complete, EIPS will also send the report to all Logos families.

Regardless of whether you attended the session earlier this month, you’re invited to take part and share your thoughts in the upcoming session on June 27.
