The numbers are in and the community has spoken: The replacement school for Wye Elementary will be getting a new name!
Construction for the replacement school—which will be relocated to the Heritage Hills area in Sherwood Park—is well underway, but Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS) still needs the community’s help to decide what it should be called. EIPS is looking for input from current Wye Elementary families, members of the Wye and Heritage Hills communities, and interested community members. Your input will help the Board of Trustees to determine the final school name and ensure future decisions made about the school best reflect the feelings and opinions of the families and the community we serve.
Please take a minute to complete the short survey to state your preference and share your thoughts. The survey deadline has been extended until Feb. 22, 2019. The final decision will be announced at the March 14 Board meeting.
